In 2012, CC Recruitment Ltd (CCR) was established as a result of our CEO Warrick Ryan’s experience in employing reliable and hardworking staff that became an essential part of the success of the family farm in Matamata.
When CC Recruitment started out, it mainly involved helping farmers employ new staff. Years later, we have expanded to many industries as the demand for workers was seen not just in dairy farming but among other industries and trades across New Zealand.
Below are some industries that CC Recruitment have provided (or in the process of providing!) staff for. If your line of work or business is not on the list, feel free to contact us. We are happy to help you!
Dairy farming is one of the biggest industries in New Zealand, in fact it is one of New Zealand’s top export products around the world. According to the NZ government in 2019 there were over 40,000 people employed in the dairy industry – most of these numbers are employed on farms.
Our candidates come from a wide range of skill levels from farm assistants to farm managers to suit your business needs. Most of these candidates have extensive dairy farming experience from New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Japan, among others. Moreover, our candidates are hardworking individuals who take great pride and joy in their work which shows in their attention to detail and quality of their work.
CC Recruitment has proven time and again that we are successful in finding candidates to work in the dairy industry with all types of experience that immediately became valuable staff members.
The construction boom in New Zealand started due to the Canterbury Rebuild after the earthquakes that occurred in 2010 and 2011. Now almost ten years later, the construction industry is not showing any signs of slowing down and has been forecasted that the demand will continue to rise up until 2023.
The demand for construction related positions in regions like Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Wellington are expected. CC Recruitment is up for the challenge to provide exceptional candidates to meet infrastructure and business demands.
Apiculture or beekeeping is said to have started in New Zealand as far back as 1839. According to Apiculture New Zealand, as of March 2020 there are already 972,607 registered beehives and in 20,000 tonnes of honey was produced in 2018.
These large numbers mean that there has been a significant shortage in commercial beekeepers or apiarists. CC Recruitment has stepped in to fill these shortages to ensure that New Zealand is able to keep up with the increasing demand in honey production locally and across the globe.
Since the surge to the tourism industry in New Zealand, there has been a steady increase in jobs in the hospitality sector especially in the top tourist destinations in the country. In fact, for the year 2016, it is said that the tourism industry has generated NZ$10 billion from international visitors.
The hospitality industry needed to meet these demands and be able to operate at a standard that is at par with international standards. This demand has been creating employment opportunities in hotel management, food operations, tourism and event planning that are available for migrant workers especially those who have international experience.
Given the high standards of healthcare throughout the country, it is not surprising that there is a wide range of work opportunities for healthcare professionals for which the demand has always been consistent, if not increasing. CCR understands and is prepared to provide assistance to the somewhat daunting prospect of gaining the appropriate licences or qualifications that are required for healthcare professionals to be able to practice in New Zealand.
Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics
