Production Supervisor

Location: Northland, New Zealand
We are looking for Production Supervisor to work in Northland, New Zealand.
- Remuneration: $30 – $35 per hour
- Min hours / week: 40 hours
- Max hours / week: 60 hours
- Overtime Rate / hour: $30 – $35 per hour
- Roster: 5 days on and 2 days off | Mon to Fri 7 AM to 5 PM
- Qualification / Experience: Training provided, 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Visa Type: AEWV application, Level 3
Job Description
- Manage your team and team leaders to achieve the most productive outcomes.
- Have production projects produced on time, on budget and to the required standard.
- Develop a seamless interaction with the Sales team to ensure all parties needs are met without conflict.
- Monitor and manage staff hours to match demand
- Liase with General Manager about all facets of the business as they apply to production.
- Liase with General Manager about all facets of the business as they apply to health and safety.
- Complete daily / weekly / monthly paperwork.
- Ensure production supplies are ordered on time and within cost.
- Read and interpret plans or drawings
- Oversee the weighing and mixing of concrete materials
- Sample and test the mix or direct others to achieve this.
- Oversee the preparation of boxing (formwork) and / or lay reinforcing
- Oversee each pour, check spread, compaction, and finish by hand or machine
- Oversee the connection of columns and walls.
- Manage staff to ensure we maintain a safe and clean environment
- Accept personal and shared responsibility to ensure that health and safety objectives are achieved.
- Report all incidents that caused harm and all incidents that could have caused harm.
- Maintain a commitment to continuous improvement in health and safety.
- Maintain an updated understanding of health and safety matters and management practices.
- Participate in new employee health and safety inductions as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding environmental, health, safety and risk management.
- Commit to comply with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and safe operating procedures.
- Attend or run meetings as required.
- Actively be involved in continuous improvement of policies and procedures to improve client management and satisfaction.
- Undertake any lawful instruction as directed by management.
- Travel to trade shows, conferences, and any other relevant events/ training opportunities.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
- Comply with Company’s policy and procedures.
