Truck Driver with logging industry experience

We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Truck Driver with a background in the logging industry to join our team. As a Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to operate and drive heavy-duty trucks to transport logs to designated destinations. Expertise and knowledge in the logging industry will be vital in ensuring safe and efficient transportation of logs.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading logs
- Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading logs
- Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
- Ensuring logs are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damages
- Checking condition of logs and obtaining certification of deliveries
Role Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience driving trucks and loading / unloading logs
- NZ Class Truck license
- Professional License, Restrictions 1, 2, 3 & 8
