Warrick Ryan - CEO and Founder

Warrick is a farmer at heart, born and bred in Matamata he spent his childhood growing up on his family farm. He attended Otago university and completed a commerce degree before taking on sales and marketing roles in the agricultural industry with Open Country Dairy and AFFCO. Warrick then returned to run the farm as a lower order share milker for 9 years, whilst starting a family with his wife Andrea and completing an MBA through Waikato University.

Warrick has experienced first hand the issues faced in the NZ Dairy Industry, however he hung the cups up for the last time in May 2017 and now holds the position of CEO for Cross Country Recruitment Limited. He resides in Hamilton with his wife, two sons (Lucas & Santiago), two dogs and a cat. He likes to get out on the open road on his motorbike, along with a few waves in Raglan on a hot summers day.

Andrea Ryan - Director, Pastoral Care & Candidate Resources

Andrea arrived in New Zealand from Bolivia in 2008.

She began life here on a work visa, then transitioned to farm life, raising two boys with her husband Warrick. Andrea has been heavily involved with the employment of Filipino staff members on the farm, ensuring their life and well being was always well looked after. Andrea soon went through the permanent resident process and is now a citizen and a proud holder of a New Zealand passport.

Now living in Hamilton, she misses the country life but is focused on completing her accounting degree whilst assisting with the directorship of Cross Country Recruitment. Andrea enjoys cooking for family and friends, attending the gym and competing against her better half in sporting activities. You will often find her in the garden or at the beach, enjoying time with her kids and dogs

Yvonne Lambert-Smith - Operations Manager

Yvonne has had an extensive career in recruitment, career management and sales and people management after graduating from Waikato University. She has worked and lived throughout New Zealand, and in Brisbane Australia, Germany and Singapore.

In the last couple of years she has made the decision to return to New Zealand and to the Waikato specifically to be closer to her family and enjoy again the lifestyle that only New Zealand can offer.

Her position with Cross Country Recruitment is as the Operations Manager and oversees the sales and administration teams along with the general business operations and procedures.

Yvonne loves to spend time with family and friends and is also active in the national administration and coaching of artistic roller skating which is where she is able to get active and creative.

Chetan Rudra - Senior Licensed Immigration Adviser

Chetan is originally from New Delhi, India. With some previous background in Immigration and Visa services, he came to New Zealand in 2010 to explore new opportunities. After getting work experience in various industries in New Zealand, Chetan finally decided to follow his profession as a Licensed Immigration Adviser to help migrants and providing them different options and migration pathways that they might not be aware of.

Previously, Chetan worked with different education providers and a Polytechnic in New Zealand as a Regional Sales Manager handling their international student recruitment. 

Apart from work, Chetan enjoys the New Zealand outdoors and a good cup of coffee.

Rimple Lobana - Licensed Immigration Adviser

Rimple’s immigration career spans over 18 years. Rimple is a fully licensed adviser since 2013 and is well experienced in New Zealand Immigration matters. Rimple has a deep understanding of the immigration process and has successfully represented numerous clients in their visa matters both onshore and offshore.Rimple holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters degree in Finance. Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English, Rimple specializes in assisting clients with their Skilled Migrant, Temporary entry, and Family category applications.

Nicholas Peebles - Accountant

Nick studied a Bachelor of Applied Management, majoring in accounting, at the Wintec Institute of Technology graduating in November 2017. Nick Joined the CCR Team at the beginning of October 2017 and since then has maintained and operated the day to day accounts for the company. He is a quick learner and is always willing to help solve an issue.

Out of work, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, problem solving, playing tennis and watching movies.

Nick is also studying to become a Chartered Accountant and loves to keep up to date with his knowledge.

Brenda Comins - Client Relationship Manager

As one of the Client Relationship Managers in Cross Country Recruitment, Brenda’s role involves supporting farmers by explaining the benefits of recruiting offshore staff and ensuring the best possible outcome for everyone involved.

Coming from a sales background within the farming industry, she is familiar with the processes and seasonal requirements our farming community experience. Brenda enjoys meeting with our farming clients and assisting them to achieve their goals.

Originally from the Wairarapa, Brenda relocated to the Waikato where she and her husband enjoy living on their small lifestyle block. Her interests include interior decorating and travel. Both Brenda and her husband are members of the Harley Davidson Waikato Chapter so many hours are spent on their bikes enjoying the scenery our beautiful country offers.

Scott Daubney - Client Relationship Manager

As one of the Client Relationship Managers in Cross Country Recruitment, Scott’s role involves joining farmers with great, hard working offshore staff, and working with both farmer and staff to ensure the best possible outcome.

Coming from a sales background within the farming industry, as well as experience on the home dairy farm, he knows the ins and outs of the seasonal activity and pressures the farming industry experiences. Scott enjoys meeting with our farming clients and working with them to achieve their goals.

Born and bred in the Waikato, Scott enjoys being out on farm, whether it be helping out at home, or talking to someone over the fence. His interests include motocross and cross country racing, and socialising with friends over a BBQ.

Kerry Garnham - Sales Administration

Kerry comes to us with a strong administration background and travels from Ngarua daily to support the Cross-Country Recruitment and Immigration sales team.

Born and raised in Auckland, Kerry lives on a dairy farm with her partner and children.

When not at work, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family and entertaining large gatherings of friends during the summer months.

Marc De Vera - Pastoral Care Team Leader

Marc moved to New Zealand in 2006 from the Philippines to study. He is recently graduated in Business in Information Technology and worked as an IT Support Technician in Waikato Institute of Technology.

Currently Marc is now working as The Pastoral Care Team Leader who looks after the new arrivals as well as providing a vital link between Cross Country Recruitments clients and candidates.

When not working Marc spends his free time reading and watching movies, he also loves to play Guitar (although poorly) and cooking (also poorly).  Above all, He firmly believes that God and family is the most important of all.

Eric Binolirao - Pastoral Care Coordinator

Eric loves being on a fast-paced environment that depend on efficiency and accuracy. He spent more than 10 years working in a call centre (BPO industry) in the Philippines, dealing with technical support, customer service, credit management and billing based in the USA and UK.

For his son's future, Eric moved to New Zealand. With the help of his friends, he later gained knowledge and skills about dairy farming. Eric did volunteer works in some dairy farms located in Waikato and Bay of Plenty region which led him to meet Warrick Ryan the Owner of Cross Country Recruitment and Immigration.

Based on Eric’s work experience and skills he got hired as the Pastoral Care Co-Ordinator who looks after the filipino farmers in processing their visa’s, and keep track on how they are settled in New Zealand.

Melanie Weal - Immigration Administrator

Melanie has recently completed her Bachelor of Applied Management degree and is currentlyworking part time assisting the immigration team while studying towards her CharteredAccountancy qualification.

Having grown up on a farm in Te Awamutu, Melanie spend many years show jumping before makingthe tough decision to focusing on her studies.Outside of work Melanie is normally found studying or enjoying time with her friends.
